The transformation of a drag queen

Seduction's story

By Emily Siner

A lmost every day of the week, Marcus Wilder works in a sports bar and at Caterpillar Mining in Decatur, Ill.

But on Sundays, he does drag.

And he’s damn good at it, too. His female alter ego, Seduction, was crowned Miss C-Street at Champaign’s Chester Street Bar. She performs at the bar’s drag show almost every week, and the audience loves her. But few of her fans actually know Marcus — without the lingerie, without the killer heels, without the makeup.

Emily Siner was so thrilled that the AP changed its spelling of "web site" to "website" that she wanted that word in her title. Only when she became the producer of readbuzz.com did she realize that she is actually just called the "Online Editor." Woops. Find her online elsewhere on Twitter (@SinerSays) or on her (ahem) website, emilysiner.com .

You’re right Marcus. “People like me more when….” is not a good basis for a decision.
